Soccer is a number game. The numbers above sum up Manchester United's season so far.
8 games played, 7 goals scored, 5 consecutive victories, 6 consecutive clean sheets ( including the
Champions League win against Lisbon but excluding the farce against Conventry of course), which leaves us sitting pretty atop the EPL table, albeit below Arsenal, who are firing on all guns this season.

An average of less than 1 goal scored per game, which implies that our much-vaunted offense is simply firing blanks. On the bright side, we can only get better once Saha is back to full fitness. In the meantime, we have to thank our back 4 and van der Sar for their solid defending. Of course, Carrick and company are also contributing by dropping back and coming in with timely tackles.

Suffice to say that we are just getting warmed up, so game on, and hopefully we can outgun the Gunners when we meet them.

20 years

Soon it will be the 20th anniversary of B'z, my favorite band.
Inaba-san is 43 and still going on strong, while Matsumoto-san is even older, although you would never know it from the way he plays the guitar.

Kansai Trip

Went to Kansai in September with my bro. Visited Himeji, Kobe, Kyoto and Osaka.

To describe each place in a word starting with R:

Himeji- Rustic

Kobe- Romantic

Kyoto- Rejuvenating

Osaka- Raucous

Together Eternally...

This is definitely one of my favorite wedding songs. The words are so simple yet so meaningful, listening to it sends reverberations through my heart every time.

Believe (in)

I believe you.
I believe in you.

Is there a difference? It makes a world of difference with or without just a single word.
The former refers to a matter of trust. It implies that you are not lying and are speaking the truth.
The latter implies that I have faith in you (and your abilities), that I know you are capable of succeeding in whatever needs to be done.

Sometimes even native speakers of English make errors regarding the use of words like "in".
As they say, English is easy to learn but hard to master. However, it does not mean that we should abandon hope. Rather, we should believe in ourselves, and repay that belief by endeavoring to improve our language ability little by little, day by day.

SUPER LOVE SONG
