A boy, a girl, and a huskie
Just wanted to write this before I fly off.
Christmas this year was a white one, and it was a pretty one. It was much more enjoyable than what I expected, and I guess there are so many people I need to thank. My Mimizuku mum and dad, for starters. Their warm hospitality really touched my heart. Despite their heavy workload during this festive season, they took the trouble to see that we were well-fed and had things to do; walk the dog, building snow people, doing hard labor (actually it was more fun than tiring, just that jiji had a case of back ache the next day, and probably so did the ice princess :p)
Then of course, I haven't felt so silly yet happy in such a long time, so I guess credit must also go to Kaori for making me do all sorts of funny poses and expressions. Of course, I can't beat the master or rather mistress when it comes to making WEIRD expressions.haha It was fun, really really fun, and I am glad that not only did we had fun, even the other guests at Mimizuku seemed to like our igloo, and Ruru (the resident Siberian Huskie, I love Huskies!!!) seemed to had fun being walked, or was it the other way round? We has loads of fun, taking photos, taking photos, and more photos. Together we had over 1000 shots, with some video clips too. Some of them are sweet, some are plain silly, and quite a few of them are really hilarious. I guess laughter is the best medicine sometimes. :)
White X'mas is awesome, and for Singaporeans like us who have only experienced hot humid X'mas countdowns in our sunny home sweet home, this is quite a memorable experience.
I will let the photos do the talking, but somehow I seemed to have jumbled up the order, so here are the photos, not in chronological order, but more or less in a themed fashion.

I will end off with an English one that I wrote at Mimizuku. Somehow I seem to have rediscovered the inspiration that has been missing for a while.
Kind of cold
Away from the fireplace
Outside in the snow
Raining snowy stars
I am building a snowman
Merry melodies in the air
Enchanting lights twinkling
Radiating a tender warmth
Rejoice my dear friend
You are a precious gem that I'll treasure
X marks the spot
Meant for memories that shine
All year round in joy
Sweet dreams princess
