Four | 四 | Cuatro

4 goals, all scored in the last 30 minutes, each scored by a different player, and it appears that our title campaign is back on track.

4th in the table, with a game in hand, and we showed our calibre on a night when all the Big 4 won. Chelsea 5-0, Arsenal 3-1, Liverpool 3-2, Man U 4-0.

4 consecutive clean sheets in our last 4 games. The statistics above show that we are headed in the right direction, but if you were to break down tonight's game, it would be a game of 2 halves. In the first half, we had possession but no conversion. The only time we "scored", the refereee penalized Rooney for a "foul". Despite our dominance, we had only a big fat zero to show. In the second half, we still labored to score the first goal, and it took 15 minutes before we managed to prise open the West Brom defence. Once that was accomplished, we soon managed to score a few more goals and ensure our victory.

I feel that the way we play is dangerous for ourselves because initially we seemed to be contented with that solitary goal and nearly allowed West Brom back into the game. Fortunately, Rooney combined effectively with Ronaldo to score the second goal, which gave us a cushion and forced West Brom into coming out from their defensive shell.

Then Berbatov made it look easy when he stabbed home from close range to make sure we led comfortably. However, there were a few times when it looked as though we would win 3-1 instead of 3-0, but fortunately, Nani made sure that we won convincingly with a 4-0 scoreline by scoring right at the end of the game.

4 is not my favorite number (I am talking about our table position, not the number of goals). At least we should go for number 3, if not number 1.
