Wrote a haiku recently.
Here it is. Nothing fancy, just expressing the 4 seasons using my rudimentary Japanese poetry knowledge. Somehow I like the phrase 『花開く』 because it means "to blossom", and to me the sight of flowers blooming is a beautiful one.
冬の夜
秋風の歌
聞こえるか
夏の気持ちは
花開く春
Which reminds me, my cactus has sprouted flowers too. lol 開了花的仙人掌
